Last updated: May 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Reno Firefighters Local 731 Benevolent Fund website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About the Organization
The Reno Firefighters Local 731 Benevolent Fund (the “Fund”) is a Nevada nonprofit organization and a federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. Founded in 2021 by members of IAFF Local 731, the Fund supports Reno firefighters during medical emergencies, personal hardship, and community-driven initiatives.
3. Donations
Donations to the Fund are voluntary. As a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless explicitly stated.
Donations are processed by Zeffy, a third-party donation platform. By donating you also agree to Zeffy’s terms and privacy practices. The Fund does not receive, store, or have access to your full payment details.
Donations are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us promptly at the address below and we will work in good faith to resolve the matter with the donation processor.
4. Assistance Requests
Requests for assistance from members or their families are submitted through a third-party form hosted by Google. Submissions are reviewed by the Fund’s Board of Trustees. Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance; awards are made at the Board’s discretion and in accordance with the Fund’s mission and available resources.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Infringe the rights of others or impersonate any person or organization;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems;
- Transmit harmful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content;
- Use automated means to scrape or harvest content without our prior written permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, the Fund’s name and logo, and photography — is the property of the Fund or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Fund makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site’s availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
